It handles everyday things too — but if you mainly want a work or business tool, a productivity assistant is the better fit. Different category, different goal.
Partly. Opening apps, finding files and other actions happen on your PC, and your files and Stonic's memory of you stay there. But the AI that understands you and answers runs in the cloud, so an internet connection is required — what you say goes to the AI to be answered. Either Lifetime — one payment of $56, on your own API keys — or a monthly plan: Basic or Power. Every monthly plan includes every feature and every model; they differ only in how much you can use and how many computers you sign in on, and the AI runs on our servers, so there is no API key to set up. Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). A normal mid-range PC or laptop with 8GB+ RAM is plenty — no gaming rig required. It runs on Windows only for now.
