Everyday help,
just by asking.
Stonic is a character first — someone to talk to. But ask it to open an app, play a song, look something up or find a file, and it takes care of it right there on your PC. The small things, done by voice.
Stonic AI can do everyday things on your Windows PC when you ask out loud: open and close apps, play music or a YouTube video, look something up, create or find a folder, check what is slowing your PC, or send a quick WhatsApp message. Each ask takes seconds to about a minute. It is not built for bulk file processing, business workflows or long unattended jobs — for those, dedicated automation software or a work assistant like ChatGPT or Claude is the better fit.

What it does.
Apps on request
"Open Spotify", "close all Chrome windows", "launch Steam" — the everyday stuff, without reaching for the mouse.
Music, videos and answers
Play a song or a YouTube video, open a site, or look something up. It answers out loud or brings it up on screen.
Folders and files
Create a folder, find a file you saved last week, open a project. Small, single asks — not mass reorganizing.
How is my PC doing?
Ask about battery, RAM or storage, or what is slowing things down, and get a spoken answer.
Checks before anything risky
Before deleting or changing something important, it asks you first. You stay in charge, and you can stop it at any time.
Honest about its limits
It is made for everyday moments, not bulk jobs. Hundreds of files, business workflows or work that runs for hours belong in dedicated automation tools.
Up and running in minutes.
Just ask
"Open YouTube and play some lo-fi." Say it the way you would say it to a friend.
Watch it happen
Stonic tells you what it is doing while it does it, right there on your screen. Anything risky waits for your OK.
Carry on talking
When it is done, the conversation simply continues. No dashboards, no reports to read.
Frequently asked questions
Everyday things, by voice: open and close apps, play music or videos, open websites and look things up, create or find folders and files, tell you how your PC is doing, and send a quick WhatsApp message. Each one is a single ask that takes seconds to about a minute.
No. Stonic is an experience first — an AI character that lives on your PC, talks with you and remembers you. Helping around the PC is something it can do, not what it is built around. If you need bulk file processing, scheduled business tasks or long unattended jobs, a dedicated automation tool will serve you better.
It is not designed for that. For writing, research, coding or business workflows, a work assistant like ChatGPT or Claude is the better fit — plenty of Stonic owners use both. Stonic is for how it feels to have someone living in your PC.
It runs with normal user permissions like any Windows app, checks with you before risky steps, and you can stop it at any time.
It can open, close and switch between any installed app. Inside apps it is best at simple things — it is not built to operate complex software for you step by step.
